Project Analyst Internship and Supportive Mentorship: Viktoriia's Erasmus Success
Viktoriia Dovhan, a Project Analyst intern from Ivan Franko Lviv National University in Ukraine, recently completed her Erasmus internship in Slovakia through our program.
Viktoriia's tasks involved creating presentations and reports to analyze project data and partner performance. "I create a deck (Channel readiness) that helps us to see the planned projects and the terms of their use, it is convenient to plan further actions. Also, set up specific presentation, it can be said that the main analysis of a certain project is briefly described there. And actually, I built some reports which allow us to see specific indicators and summarize the success of work in each area. I also multiple analyze our business partners. Every time I help update the data in some presentation, I constantly review this, also checking if everything is working. I’m looking to make sure everything is current on a regular basis.."
This experience allowed her to develop valuable skills in data analysis and working with large databases.
While Viktoriia did not face serious difficulties, she had a very supportive supervisor.``My manager often wondered how I was doing, and whether l liked everything in my work. He was also understanding when I had difficulties``
The most enjoyable aspect for Viktoriia was the feeling of being a contributing member of the team at the company. She also highlights the benefit of travelling within Europe by being in Slovakia.
The biggest challenge for Viktoriia was being away from home. However, she emphasizes the positive aspects of meeting new people and exploring Slovakia during her free time. Her advice to future interns is to embrace the experience and make the most of it.
Viktoriia plans to graduate and pursue future career opportunities, with the possibility of returning to Slovakia.
