The Placement Slovakia program was founded by WorkSpace Europe, the Slovak Consortium of 15 Universities focused on international student internships in frame of the EU program Erasmus+ and employability of graduates.

WorkSpace Europe, established in 2013, believes that international internships are essential for equipping students with the skills needed in today’s European job market. We have grown into Slovakia’s leading organization for international internships and graduate employability. We coordinate Erasmus+ internships for Slovak university students abroad and facilitate internship placements in Slovakia for international students. Through close cooperation with both employers and universities, we help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience, connecting these two worlds within the European workspace.
What We Do
For over 10 years, within the Placement Slovakia program, we have specialized in arranging Erasmus internships in Slovakia for foreign students and graduates. We support international students and graduates in securing internships and jobs with leading employers in Slovakia - from large multinational companies to SMEs, startups, and non-profit organizations across various sectors.
- We manage international internship and graduate job programs for companies and collaborate with universities across Europe to help their students secure internships in Slovakia.
- By coordinating a University Consortium, we facilitate hundreds of international internships annually, supporting both outgoing and incoming student mobility.
- With over 1,000 successful placements, we understand the process from all perspectives and cater to the needs of universities, students, and employers.

Our Mission
We created the Placement Slovakia program to increase the volume of international internship mobility of foreign students into Slovakia and to position Slovakia as an attractive destination for career development. Our goal is to provide students with high-quality work, social, and cultural experience in our beautiful and rapidly developing country. We aim to support foreign students studying in Slovakia to stay and continue developing, or return in the future. We appreciate every foreign student considering Slovakia for career development and We are ready to help them succeed!
