José Pedro da Costa Nunes from Portugal completed his Master studies in Engineering and industrial management and spent 6 months doing an internship as an Industrial engineer in Nitra, Slovakia. We met up with Pedro at the end of his internship just before he got on a flight back to Portugal to ask him how he found his traineeship in Nitra as an Industrial Engineer. As well as the video interview link below (or click on the picture) we also have a full written interview. Now that Pedro has finished, we wish him every bit of success in the future.

Our interview with Pedro

Keerthi Jaligam, originally coming from India, is a student in the faculty of Science studying Scientific Instrumentation at the University in Jena, Germany. She spent almost 6 months in Slovakia, doing an internship as a Mechanical Designer in a company in the town of Trenčín. These international experiences in work and study have given Keerthi a foot in the door to progress to the next level in the heart of Europe. Here is what she has to say about her experience.

We always enjoy hearing about experiences and tips directly from our trainees. Especially if it is intended to help future interns who wish to come to Slovakia. Abdullah is finishing his internship in a few days, but he would like to share his insights of application process with you before he leaves.

João Camacho and his journey from Portugal to the heart of Europe.

I have to be honest. I never thought of coming to Slovakia but so far this has been the best decision I have ever made! Keep reading if you want to know more about my story and be sure you can have the same opportunity as I did.

Hey everyone! My name is João and I finished my degree in management at University of Madeira, Portugal, in 2016. Despite I was working at that time, I knew that I needed a remarkable experience in a foreign country. Taking into consideration that the decision of leaving your country is not easy, I would like to share with you my experience as a trainee in Slovakia.

Lucas Gurgel, originally from Brazil, is a student of Innovation Economics and Management at the University of Porto. He came to Slovakia in December 2016 to start his internship in one consulting firm. Even though his internship period ended in May, he decided to stay in Bratislava until August to enjoy summer here and finish his thesis. We met on our terrace one sunny afternoon and spent about an hour talking about his experience. You can read what we learnt in the following article. Have a nice read!
